1st hole
This is a tough hole and plays longer than its distance. You have out of bounds areas on your right and behind the green. Drives that finish left of centre open your approach to the green. Two bunkers are at the front of an elevated green. The green can be very slick for those that finish at the back.
2nd hole
This short dog leg par 4 has undone many golfers who stray right. Long hitters in drier conditions may over club on this hole. The slopping front edge and left side has seen many run off the green.
3rd hole
A tough par 3 for the men as a hook shot will see you go out of bounds. Stray right and you can end up down on the second. Go too long and you end up in the scrub at the back. A ball close to the internal fence around the green is a free drop at your nearest point of relief.
4th hole
A Par 5 over the hill with out of bounds along the highway. Anywhere on the fairway will set up your attack on the green. Aiming to the right of the fairway allows you to roll onto the green. Balls hit to the left are likely to roll into the tree line.
5th hole
A long dog leg to the left. Must play out to the right hand side to see the green.
6th hole
A par 3 with mounds either side at the front of a two tiered green. Can play short or long depending on the wind.
7th hole
A straight par 5 bordered by tall trees and a shallow drain. The green has a small shallow bunker on the left hand side.
8th hole
A par 3 with mounds on both sides. The green slopes up from the front.
9th hole
Drive down the right hand side and half of the green may be obscured by trees. The green drops away at the back.
10th hole
Can play short depending on the wind. The mound in front of the green acts as an optical illusion making the green appear closer. The green is narrow and slopes up and down to the sides.
11th hole
Club selection varies according to the wind. The bunker in the front catches many under clubbed balls. Be aware of the drains on this hole as some are hazards.
12th hole
A straight forward short Par 4 where a long straight drive can leave you with a short approach. Duffed tee shots may end up in the hazard in front of the tee.
13th hole
Slight dog leg to the right with out of bounds along the right hand side that comes into play on your drive or approach shot.
14th hole
A long par 5 dog leg to the left to an elevated green. Out of bounds follows the right hand side of the fairway.
15th hole
Short par 4 for ladies but a challenging par 4 for men. From the men’s tee the water hazard may come into play on the right or the out of bounds on the left. An accurate tee shot can set up your approach to an undulating green.
16th hole
Straight par 4 that plays frequently into the prevailing SW wind. Again the mound prior to the green acts as an optical illusion and there is a bunker on the right.
17th hole
Another straight par 4 that plays harder than its rating. Many approach shots have difficulty holding this undulating green.
18th hole
A dog leg to the left par 4. You need to make a decision on the tee as to which club you use as there is a water hazard on the left hand side. If straight and right should be in no trouble, long and over the water may see you end up in the tree line.
